Concert tour of laureates of the 45th edition of Concertino Praga
Laureates of the current 45th year of the International Radio Competition for Young Musicians Concertino Praga will introduce themselves to public through concert series in Prague and South Bohemia. The tour is open by a gala concert taking place in the Dvořák Hall of Prague Rudolfinum on Saturday, 18 June 2011 at 7pm.
Those best competitors will be accompanied by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jan Kučera. The concert will be broadcast live by ČRo-3 Vltava and abroad by EBU (European Broadcasting Union) members. The Czech Television will record the concert and at the same time makes a document on laureates stay in Prague and their preparation for performances. The tour continues at the South Bohemian Festival Concertino Praga. Concerts will take place at castles (Český Krumlov – Monday 21, Bechyně – Tuesday 22, Jindřichův Hradec – Friday 24) and a baroque theatre (Třeboň – Wednesday 23).
