The Concertino Praga finale evening: the Convent of Saint Agnes of Bohemia graced with young people
The two finale concerts of this year’s Concertino Praga – the Antonín Dvořák International Radio Competition for Young Musicians were held on Friday 17 September and Saturday 18 September. The Trio Vyšehrad (the Czech Republic), Trio INNsolitus (Austria), Duo Mráček-Pěruška (the Czech Republic) and Veloce String Quartet (Poland) vied for the favour of the international jury and the title of the Absolute Winner of Concertino Praga 2021 on 17.9.2021.
We also invited you to enjoy the concert from the Convent of Saint Agnes of Bohemia via our live broadcast. The cooperation between Czech Radio and the Academy of Classical Music has continued for a second year. As a result, the finalists have the opportunity to perform at concerts within the framework of the Dvořák Prague International Music Festival.

This, no doubt, gives them significant motivation, but it is also something of an endurance test. Would they prove that they were not only able to play their instruments perfectly, but that they could also present their artistry to an audience? And would they come to terms with the nerves that a performance before a festival audience brings?
