Chantal Ramona Veit
Flutist Chantal Ramona Veit is a finalist in Category II of the Concertino Praga 2025 competition.
Born in 2008 in Merano, Italy, Chantal began flute lessons at the age of three and a half. Since 2021, she has been studying flute and voice at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in Innsbruck. She is the recipient of numerous prizes from prestigious national and international competitions.
As a solo flutist, she has already performed with the Tyrolean Chamber Orchestra InnStrumenti and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento. In 2022, she was awarded the ORF Prize in the woodwinds category. Her recent achievements include first prizes at the International Competition in Treviso, the online competition of the German Flute Society, the Moyse International Music Competition in Sofia, and overall victory at the Franco Margola International Music Competition in Brescia.
In May 2024, she made her solo debut with the Vienna Art Nouveau Orchestra in the Brahms Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. Her artistic activity also includes a joint performance with renowned flutist Carlo Jans at the Sonora Music Festival.
