Naďa Strnadová

Naďa Strnadová is a semifinalist in Solo Category I of the Concertino Praga competition.

Naďa Strnadová is currently in her first year at the Prague Conservatory, where she studies cello under the guidance of Professor Petr Nouzovský. She transferred to the conservatory from the Grammar and Music School of the Capital City of Prague, where she studied with Professors Mirko and Martin Škampa.

She regularly participates in cello competitions. Among her achievements are several first prizes at the Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition (2015, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023), a first prize at the Gustav Mahler Prize Cello Competition in Jihlava (2019), and second prizes at the Heran Cello Competition in Ústí nad Orlicí (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).

Naďa has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist at various concerts, including the Zlatá Pecka music festival in collaboration with Dagmar Pecková and Klára Gibišová, the Visegrad Music Youth Academy graduation concert (accompanied by Miriam Rodriguez Brüllová), the concert of top Czech participants of the 26th and 28th Heran Cello Competition, the concert of winners of the 16th and 17th editions of the cello competition (2022, 2023), and the laureates’ concert of the Heran Cello Competition held as part of the Smetana’s Litomyšl Festival.
