Fourteen-year-old violinist Lin Tokura, born in Japan and raised in the United States, is currently studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School in the United Kingdom under the guidance of Dr. Robin Wilson.

In 2026, she became the youngest recipient of the prestigious Rohm Music Foundation Scholarship in Japan. Since making her solo debut at the age of eleven, she has performed with orchestras across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Italy, including collaborations with ensembles such as the Seattle Symphony, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, and London City Orchestra. In 2025, she won the top prize in the under-18 category at the 6th Young Ludwig Competition in Berlin. Sussex Express praised her for her “technical brilliance supported by maturity and passion.” Lin also became the youngest finalist in the 37-year history of the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, where she won second prize. Among her many achievements is first prize at the 65th Kocian International Violin Competition in the Czech Republic.
