Valentýna Ibriqi
Valentýna Ibriqi began playing the piano at the age of eight under the guidance of Ellina Belčiková and quickly attracted attention thanks to her exceptional competition results.
At the age of nine, she won first prize at the Young Pianists Play Steinway/Sons competition, followed a year later by the overall absolute victory. Since then, she has established herself at the most prestigious national and international piano competitions, repeatedly winning first prizes, absolute victories, and special jury awards. She is a laureate of competitions such as Beethoven’s Teplice, Prague Junior Note, Broumovská klávesa, Amadeus, Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, and the International Smetana Piano Competition, and has successfully represented the Czech Republic on stages in Belgium, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She has performed in the Czech Senate, the Rudolfinum, and at festivals including Dvořák Prague, Prague Spring, and Smetana’s Litomyšl. She has collaborated with the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra and is a laureate of the Golden Nut Award of both the Central Bohemian Region and the Czech Republic.
