Jooan Kim

After studying at Soongui Elementary School and the Gifted Education Center of the Korea National University of Education, he entered Yewon School. He became the first and youngest brass player ever admitted to the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. Under the guidance of Professor Dmitry Lokalenkov and world-renowned masters such as Sergei Nakariakov, he has further refined his unique artistic voice. Following his successful recital as part of the Kumho Young Artist Recital series in March 2026, Jooan continues to bring joy to audiences around the world through the brilliant sound of the trumpet.
